Your responsibilities will include:* Preparing and organizing materials and equipment for classes and workshops. * Managing the procurement and inventory of new machines, materials, and supplies. * Assisting students and faculty in the use of fabrication machines and testing equipment. * Helping ensures the lab stays organized, clean, and functional at all times. * Actively participating in the setup and improvement of the lab infrastructure as it evolves. * Implementing and ensuring compliance with safety protocols and occupational risk prevention, and maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Qualifications: **To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:*** Hands\-on experience or willingness to learn how to operate construction and materials testing equipment (including mechanical and manual presses, humidity chambers, etc.) * Knowledge and experience in woodworking, including the use of tools and machines. * Skills in digital design, with experience in 2D and 3D software such as AutoCAD, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, etc. * Education in architecture, engineering, construction, or technical studies will be positively valued, as well as previous experience as a lab technician with any type of fabrication or testing equipment. * Fluency in spoken and written English, essential for working in our multicultural environment. * A team\-oriented mindset, eagerness to learn, and a proactive, collaborative attitude.
