Here, you won’t be just a resource: you’ll join a multidisciplinary team where engineering, legaltech, and consulting profiles coexist—and where technology is seriously discussed, shared, and improved. **What We’re Looking For** ------------------ We’re seeking a Senior Java Architect who: * Is highly proficient in Java backend development and has successfully delivered multiple production systems. * Masters Spring and Spring Boot—and knows when to simplify and when to modularize. * Has deep experience with Hibernate/JPA—and has suffered enough to prioritize domain design. * Has practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design (not just read the book). * Has hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud environments (provider-agnostic—we care about your approach). * Possesses strong technical judgment, the ability to say “no” when needed, and enthusiasm for mentoring mid- and junior-level colleagues. * Lives in Madrid and values a hybrid work model—balancing collaborative office time with focused remote work. If you come from microservices ecosystems, REST APIs, CI/CD, and observability practices, we’ll speak the same language from minute one. **Your Day-to-Day** ---------------------------- * You’ll translate business conversations into bounded contexts—and then into meaningful services and events. * You’ll design and evolve Java architectures based on Spring Boot, prioritizing domain integrity, scalability, and security from day one. * You’ll work with Kubernetes and cloud platforms to ensure deployments are predictable and systems operable with confidence. * You’ll mentor the team: purposeful code reviews, proposals for standards, well-reasoned technical decisions, and space for others’ growth. * You’ll participate in stable, high-impact projects tied to public-sector modernization and other critical environments.
