**Ingeteam**, a leading company specializing in electrical engineering and the development of electrical equipment, motors, generators, and frequency converters, is seeking an **FPGA Design Engineer** to join its Automation Devices (AD) Business Unit in Zamudio. As part of Ingeteam AD, your mission will be to design and develop FPGA architectures and embedded electronic systems for industrial control applications. **Responsibilities:** * Specify, analyze, simulate, and verify FPGA-based hardware designs, ensuring alignment with predefined requirements and internal company standards * Conduct prototype verification testing * Collaborate in generating technical documentation to support subsequent development and verification testing * Actively participate in analyzing and resolving technical issues **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Embedded Systems, or a related field * Proven experience designing and developing programmable logic devices (FPGAs, CPLDs) using hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog) * Experience developing electronic products based on microcontrollers, microprocessors, and SoCs (ARM, x86, RISC\-V, Altera, Xilinx) * Proficiency with programmable logic design and verification tools (e.g., Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim, Timequest) * Experience with communication interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, BLE, TCN, etc.) * Programming in C/C \+\+ * Experience with high-reliability and safety standards in industrial and/or railway sectors (IEC 61508, EN 5012x) is desirable, as are knowledge of cybersecurity applied to embedded systems and experience with CI environments for programmable logic At **Ingeteam**, we value diversity and facilitate the inclusion of people with disabilities.
