We are not looking for someone who simply "manages clouds", but for a **Technical Leader** capable of heading a new **Cloud Services** division. You will be the driving force behind the shift from a third-party-managed model to building an independent, self-sufficient engineering team. If you master the **OpenStack** ecosystem, have proven experience in critical production environments, and are motivated to lead the technical strategy of a platform from the ground up, we want to meet you. **Your Mission** In this role, you will be the key contributor to the architecture, operation, and evolution of our private cloud platform: * **Architecture and Strategy:** Lead the platform’s technical roadmap (OpenStack, Ceph, and SDN evolution). * **Technical Leadership:** Mentor and build from scratch the operations and engineering team for the new Cloud division. * **Automation Culture:** Implement an **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** model using Ansible and Terraform across the entire cloud lifecycle. * **Innovation and Design:** Design advanced solutions on the platform (e.g., K8s-as-a-Service, DB-as-a-Service) to ensure continuous evolution. * **Vendor Management:** Technically validate external vendors’ work and manage the critical transfer of knowledge to the internal team. * **Talent Management:** Develop the agile integration model for technical staff and maintain the division’s knowledge management platform. **WHAT WE OFFER** * **Stable Contract:** Long-term project with direct hiring by the end client after the first year. * **Professional Challenge:** Lead the creation of a new technological business unit. * **Training Program:** Access to certifications and development programs. * **Flexible Working Hours:** Genuine work-life balance and objective-oriented approach. * **Hybrid Model:** Semi-presential work (2+3 or 3+2 schemes), based at our office in **Bilbao.** * **Work Environment:** Innovation-oriented, open, and inclusive culture. REQUIREMENTS **Requirements** * **Cloud Experience:** Minimum 5 years designing and operating **OpenStack** environments in production (Community or commercial distributions). * **Critical Infrastructure:** In-depth expertise in **Ceph** and SDN networking (Neutron, OVN, Open vSwitch). * **Containers:** Experience with **Kubernetes** (Vanilla or market distributions). * **Systems:** Advanced Linux administration experience (kernel tuning and advanced troubleshooting). * **Automation:** Expert-level proficiency in **Ansible, Terraform**, and scripting (Python/Bash). * **Soft Skills:** Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and a solution-oriented mindset. * **Preferred Qualifications:** Official certifications (COA) and contributions to the Open Source community
