This unit ensures the regulatory compliance in all institutional acts, especially in biomedical research projects and IP Among the goals of this Units are: to ensure the regulatory compliance in all institutional acts, especially in IP and biomedical research projects; give advice to the scientific community at VHIR of the continuous legal developments that affect biomedical research and, therefore, the transfer of results to society; and to the different services and units at VHIR. ##### **Education and qualifications:** ###### **Required:** * Law Degree ###### **Desired:** * Master’s Degree * Specialization in data protection * Specialization in Administrative law. * Specialization in Compliance. ##### **Experience and knowledge:** ###### **Required:** * At least 1 year as a lawyer with experience in data protection. * Fluent in Catalan, Spanish and English, both written and oral. * Ability to work in teams. * Excellent organizational skills with vocation of service and customer orientation. ###### **Desired:** * Specific knowledge in pharmaceutical and healthcare law and/or previous experience in the field of biomedical research will be positively valued. ##### **Main responsibilities and duties:** * Participate in the process of drafting, negotiation and reviewing data protection clauses and Standard Contractual Clauses. * Prepare Data Protection Impact Assessments. * Give support and advice to Researchers in the application of current data protection regulations. **Labour conditions:** * Full\-time position * Starting date: immediate * Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
