At DXC Spain, we are seeking a Java Functional Analyst to join our development team and participate in an important public-sector project.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an application developer
* Specialization in Java and the Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC)
* Experience integrating systems via REST and SOAP APIs, and using container technologies such as Docker or equivalent solutions
* Proficiency with version control tools like Git and PostgreSQL database management
* Knowledge and experience with Camunda for BPMN process modeling and management, as well as Corticon for business rule management, are desirable
* Strong ability to understand technical and functional designs
* Strong ability to comprehend the proposed solution—not only at the application’s functional level but also the solution’s development strategy, at both technical and systems levels
* Responsibility for meeting milestones and deliverables defined by the responsible team (architects, functional analysts, project managers, etc.)
* Familiarity with documentation management tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
* Ability to adapt to different teams and working dynamics
* Client communication skills
* Autonomy and accountability to deliver well-integrated solutions within the system’s overall architecture
* Proactivity in identifying technical improvements or supporting other team members
* Constructive critical thinking: ability to identify inconsistencies or risks in design and propose improvements without imposing them
* Mentoring capability: assist junior profiles in their training and resolving questions, promoting good design practices and clean coding standards
* Reporting capability: punctuality, timeliness, assertiveness, clarity, conciseness
* Must be located in Catalonia; spoken and written Catalan comprehension is required, as all documentation is in this language.
