This is a remote job position. **COBOL Analyst/Programmer – Hybrid Mode** ==================================================== From **Ibertech**, we are seeking a **COBOL Analyst/Programmer** to collaborate on a stable, long-term project with one of our clients, participating in the maintenance and evolution of critical applications within an established technological environment. **Location** ------------- Spain **Work Mode** ------------- Hybrid (depending on the project) **Project** ------------ Stable, long-term position. **Responsibilities** ------------- * Development, maintenance, and evolution of applications in Mainframe environments. * Technical and functional analysis of new and evolutionary developments. * Development and maintenance of COBOL programs. * Creation and modification of JCL. * Incident management and resolution of production issues. * Execution of unit and integration testing. * Participation in implementations and deployments. * Collaboration with functional and technical teams in defining solutions. **Requirements** -------------- * At least **2 years of experience** as a COBOL Analyst/Programmer. * Experience in development using **COBOL**. * Knowledge of **CICS** and **DB2**. * Experience with **JCL**. * Proficiency in **IBM Mainframe (z/OS)** environments. * Experience in corrective and evolutionary application maintenance. * Analytical ability and incident resolution capability. **Preferred Qualifications** --------------- * Knowledge of **REXX**, **Easytrieve**, or **Natural**. * Experience with agile methodologies. * Familiarity with tools such as **Jira**, **ServiceNow**, **Control\-M**, or similar. * Experience in projects within the banking, insurance, or public administration sectors. **What We Offer?** ------------------- * Joining a stable, long-term project. * Hybrid work mode with flexibility. * Professional development in high-criticality projects. * Continuous training and technical mentoring.
