The forklift operator position involves performing essential tasks for logistics and warehouse management in the retail sector. Key responsibilities relate to handling goods, ensuring an efficient and safe product flow. This role is critical to maintaining storage space organization and facilitating loading and unloading processes. Unloading goods—particularly textiles—is a routine operation demanding careful handling to preserve product quality. Use of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is constant; therefore, operational proficiency is indispensable. Bagging and alarm-tagging of products are additional processes completing the merchandise preparation cycle for distribution or final storage. Work is performed on rotating shifts covering various time slots, adapting to the operational needs of the logistics center. Collaboration with other team members is necessary to coordinate tasks and optimize execution times. Working hours are organized into rotating shifts: morning shift from 7:00 to 15:00 and afternoon shift from 15:00 to 23:00. Necessary training for performing the duties is provided, although the position does not require formal education beyond compulsory secondary education. A valid forklift operator certificate is required, confirming completion of necessary training for safe equipment operation. Prior experience—minimum one year—in operating forklifts within a logistics or production environment is mandatory. Specific experience in the textile sector or production lines, as well as general knowledge of textile products, will be viewed favorably. Full availability to work rotating shifts—including both morning and afternoon schedules—is a fundamental requirement for joining this position.
