Cook - Residential Care Center

Description

We are seeking a cook for a residential care center in Ribadumia. The primary responsibility is to prepare high-quality menus, ensuring the satisfaction of residents, visitors, and center staff. Duties include monitoring the pantry, receiving food orders, and verifying their proper condition and expiration dates. You will also be responsible for inventory control, keeping kitchen machinery and utensils clean, and ensuring timely meal preparation according to established menus. Additional responsibilities include assembling meal service carts and, if assigned, placing orders with suppliers. A temporary contract is offered, with full-time hours on a fixed morning shift. Completion of compulsory primary education and training in cooking or in the use of cleaning chemical products is required. Training in food handling and experience in a similar position are valued.
