Due to strong growth in our Power & Energy | WSP business area, we are seeking to hire a **Mechanical Engineer** specializing in mechanical and fluid systems installations for our Plant Engineering | WSP team in Valladolid, Santander, or Valencia.
**What will you do with us?**
Your responsibilities will include the design and calculation of mechanical installations in industrial settings, covering fire protection (PCI) systems, HVAC, industrial water, and process supply fluids — ensuring efficient, safe solutions aligned with our project quality standards. You will also participate in construction management of industrial mechanical installations, guaranteeing proper execution, coordination with contractors, and compliance with regulations and deadlines.
The role also requires a strong client focus, maintaining close communication with industrial plants to identify needs, propose improvements, and build trusted relationships that support client retention and project continuity.
**What are we looking for in you?**
We seek candidates with a solid technical foundation and proven experience in industrial environments, capable of leading complex projects and coordinating effectively with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders. A university degree in **Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering** is essential, along with a minimum of **10 years’ experience** in industrial projects and a **C1 level of English**, enabling confident engagement in technical and multinational contexts. Additionally, familiarity with BIM MEP working environments is highly valued, as it enhances efficiency, quality, and coordination in installation design.
