Description

DESCRIPTION Eosol Group is seeking a dedicated and experienced Acoustic Engineer to join our remote team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of renewable energy. As an Acoustic Engineer specializing in the wind sector, you will be instrumental in ensuring our wind turbine projects meet stringent acoustic performance standards while minimizing environmental impact. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting\-edge projects within a forward\-thinking organization that is committed to sustainability and technological advancement. You will have the autonomy to manage your workload effectively from a remote location, collaborating with a global team of experts. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze and model noise emissions from wind turbines utilizing sophisticated simulation tools and state\-of\-the\-art measurement techniques. This includes predicting noise propagation and identifying key noise sources. * Develop and implement innovative design modifications aimed at effectively reducing both aerodynamic and mechanical noise, as well as specific tonal components, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and community acceptance. * Collaborate closely with diverse cross\-functional teams, including specialists in aerodynamics, structural engineering, and control systems. Your role will be crucial in integrating noise reduction strategies seamlessly into the overall turbine design and operation. * Support and participate in field measurements and validation tests to rigorously assess the acoustic performance of wind turbines in real\-world conditions. * Maintain an in\-depth and up\-to\-date understanding of all international noise regulations and standards pertinent to the wind energy sector, ensuring Eosol Group remains at the forefront of compliance. * Provide essential support for certification processes and act as a key liaison with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and community representatives, regarding acoustic compliance matters. * Deliver comprehensive technical guidance, reports, and documentation suitable for both internal decision\-making and external communication with clients and regulatory agencies. **Qualifications:** * A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Acoustics, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or a related field. * A minimum of two (2\) years of professional experience in acoustics, with a significant focus on noise and vibration analysis, preferably within the renewable energy sector, specifically wind energy. * Proven experience with acoustic modeling and simulation software (e.g., * *examples may include: CadnaA, SoundPLAN, SYSNOISE, COMSOL, ANSYS*). * Familiarity with acoustic measurement techniques and instrumentation. * Strong understanding of noise regulations and standards relevant to wind turbines (e.g., IEC 61400\-11, local/regional environmental noise ordinances). * Excellent analytical and problem\-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. * Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation. * Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information clearly and concisely. * Ability to work independently and as part of a remote, collaborative team. * Proficiency in English is essential. **Preferred Skills:** * Post\-graduate qualifications in acoustics or a related discipline. * Experience with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) for aerodynamic noise prediction. * Knowledge of signal processing techniques for noise source identification. * Experience with structural\-acoustic coupling analysis. * Familiarity with wind turbine control systems and their impact on noise generation. * Experience in supporting product certification processes. * Project management experience. * Additional language proficiency could be an asset. Join Eosol Group and be part of a team that is driving innovation in the renewable energy landscape. We offer a competitive salary, a supportive remote work environment, and opportunities for professional growth. We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
