Due to significant growth in the Transportation and Infrastructure sector \| WSP is seeking to strengthen the capabilities of our Geotechnical Engineering and Underground Works team \| WSP in our offices in Santander or Madrid by hiring a Geotechnical Engineer. You will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company’s core values: solidarity, passion for complex and large-scale projects, and a spirit of innovation and camaraderie. **Your New Role: What Does It Involve?** Your key responsibilities will include foundation and underpinning calculations; design of retaining structures—such as retaining walls, contiguous, discontinuous or anchored diaphragm walls; coordination with various disciplines involved in designing the solution; use of specialized software such as PLAXIS 2D/3D, Rido, or Slide; definition and supervision of ground treatment and improvement methods (e.g., jet-grouting, preloading, gravel columns); and slope stability analysis for embankments and cuttings. **What Are We Looking For?** We seek a candidate holding a degree in Civil Engineering (Roads, Canals and Ports), Civil Engineering, or a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, with over 10 years of professional experience.
