Maintain housekeeping, order, and cleanliness (5S) standards in the facilities. **Areas of Responsibility** ---------------------------- **INTEGRATE SAFETY, PREVENTION, ENVIRONMENT, AND ENERGY** Integrate the Safety, Prevention, Environment, and Energy system into the entire production process in accordance with the Company's Preventive, Environmental, and Energy Policy, establishing objectives and action plans to control risks and progressively improve working conditions. **Main Activities** * Check Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Train other operators on safety procedures. * Assist the Shift Supervisor in preparing Risk Correction Cards (TCR). * Participate in conducting Preventive Safety Observations (OPS). * Maintain Organization, Order, and Cleanliness (5S). * Contribute to incident and accident investigations. * Attend training sessions. * Ensure that machine safety mechanisms are functioning correctly and used by everyone (DECAP). **CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT** Lead continuous improvement activities within the Mini-Company to achieve the set management plan objectives and stay within budget, as defined in the Mini-Company's operational framework. **Main Activities** * Develop Improvement Suggestions (SM). * Implement improvement actions for standardization and provide feedback on them. * Propose improvements to the condition of their workstation. * Conduct, in collaboration with the Coil Supervisor and/or Shift Supervisor, analyses of acute or chronic problems using Continuous Improvement tools: Symptom\-Cause\-Remedy\-Action (SCRAS). * Detect abnormal behavior of work elements and report it to the Coil Supervisor. **POINTING AND CONDITIONING WIRE ROD COILS IN THE ROLLING MILL** Point and condition wire rod coils from the Rolling Mill, analyzing any deviations from the standard, to report and take decisions ensuring the correct operation of the mill. **Main Activities** Verify the proper operation of Pointing Machines. In case of any anomaly that could delay the start of rolling, notify the Coil Supervisor. * Clean coil ends by removing the number of turns indicated as general rule in the Pointing Table. In special cases and according to the Coil Supervisor’s instructions, adjust the number of turns to be removed. * Recondition poorly wound or malformed coils. * Ensure that coils rejected due to poor winding, or coil pieces suitable for pressing, reach the press without crossed inner spirals or outer protrusions. * Supervise the transfer of coils from the Vertical Conveyor to the Horizontal Conveyor. * Monitor the movement of pallets along the conveyor and the movement of the Transfer Car, notifying their immediate supervisor if any anomalies are detected. * Operate the Pointing Scrap Car to remove scrap. * Perform and complete records for Autonomous Maintenance schedules assigned to their position. * Make necessary Quality Control adjustments as instructed by the Coil Supervisor for proper pointing and conditioning of wire rod coils. * Collect coil samples. **Areas of Responsibility** ---------------------------- **POINTING AND CONDITIONING WIRE ROD COILS ON THE GARRET LINE** Main Activities * Point and condition wire rod coils on the Garret Line, analyzing any deviation from the standard, to report and take decisions ensuring the correct operation of the line. * Monitor the transfer of coils from the Vertical Conveyor to the Horizontal Conveyor. Check the condition of coil tails arriving via conveyor. If any anomaly is detected, inform the Coil Supervisor and follow their instructions. * Assist the Quality Control operator in cutting samples for diameters where Cutting Shears can be used. * Use torch cutting in cases where shears cannot be used. * Assist the Production Controller in removing scraps from the Cutting Shear. * Make necessary adjustments as instructed by the Coil Supervisor for proper pointing and conditioning of wire rod coils. * Collect coil samples. **RE-POINTING, CUTTING, RELABELING, AND PRESSING WIRE ROD COILS** Re-point, cut, relabel, and press wire rod coils, taking necessary samples, to ensure product quality and production process efficiency. **Main Activities** * Remove the required number of turns according to the Pointing Table. * Take samples on the Garret Line starting from 29 mm for Quality Control. * Cut, relabel, and press wire rod coils according to established instructions for this **purpose.** * Change diameter and stoppages due to breakdowns or weekly maintenance. * Perform water box and insert changes, and diameter adjustments if necessary, to ensure proper operation. * Change water boxes and inserts depending on the rolling diameter. * Carry out diameter change tasks, cleaning, and preservation duties assigned to them. **Areas of Responsibility** ---------------------------- **Required Knowledge and Experience** ------------------------------------------ **Academic Education: Intermediate Vocational Training Cycle or High School Diploma.**
