The hotels are operated by Ennismore, the fastest-growing lifestyle hospitality company, in partnership with Grupo Azul Mar Cala Llonga, owned by Apollo Investment Fund. **Job Description** WHAT YOU’LL DO DAILY * Post supplier invoices into the accounting system. * Set up vendors/suppliers and reconcile bank statements; track contracts. * Prepare payment execution with all relevant invoices for the Finance Director’s Assistant (ADOF). * Review Accounts Payable (AP) Aging Report and justify aged outstanding amounts. * Accurately post supplier invoices into the accounting system within established deadlines. * Manage and support users and suppliers on the BirchStreet procurement system, ensuring proper invoice approval workflow. * Create and maintain up-to-date vendor master data, perform bank statement reconciliations, and monitor contracts and commercial terms. * Prepare payment proposals, ensuring all invoices have required documentation and approvals for review and authorization by the Finance Director’s Assistant (ADOF). * Periodically review the Accounts Payable (AP) Aging Report, analyze outstanding items, and follow up on overdue amounts with suppliers and internal departments. * Prepare month-end accruals and deferrals related to accounts payable, ensuring correct expense allocation. * Collaborate with the Finance Director’s Assistant on monthly General Ledger (GL) reconciliations related to the Accounts Payable area. * Submit input VAT daily via the Immediate Supply of Information (SII) system and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accurate filing. * Review, audit, record, and process employee expenses managed through the Webexpenses platform, verifying compliance with internal company policies. * Ensure adherence to internal procedures, company financial policies, and applicable tax and accounting regulations. * Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to the Accounts Payable area. * Maintain an organized and updated archive of accounting and supporting documentation, ensuring traceability and availability for internal and external audits. **Requirements** WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR * Prior experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector — though not mandatory. * Demonstrated knowledge of topics, products, systems, and processes relevant to the position. * Commitment to staying technically current and applying new knowledge to your work. * Proficiency in Excel — intermediate to advanced level. Knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure. * Strong organizational and time-management skills. Hotels operating seasonally during summer experience high workloads concentrated over just a few months — making organization, efficiency, and effective time management vital. * Creativity and innovation: Capacity to consistently generate ideas across diverse settings — from everyday situations to the workplace. * Open mindset: Willingness to explore new ideas and approaches, recognizing that some may prove more effective than others — always with the intent to try and learn from experience. * Language: Spanish fluency is required.
