Overview: **Backend Python Senior Engineer** ---------------------------------- ### **About the Project** You will join a high-level technological project within a critical environment where **quality, security, and scalability** are fundamental. You will work alongside a senior technical team in a collaborative and demanding context, with a **60% remote work model** and **office location in Barcelona**.### **What You'll Do** * Design and lead the development of scalable Python backend services. * Build and optimize APIs and backend components using modern frameworks. * Define and apply quality standards, testing, and automation. * Ensure code efficiency, security, and maintainability. * Technically coordinate with other developers and involved teams. * Actively collaborate in agile environments, contributing technical insight and best practices. * Drive the product’s technical evolution and continuous improvement. ### **✅ What Will Make You Succeed in This Role** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * Over **2 years of experience** in backend development with **Python** (FastAPI, Flask, or Django). * Solid experience with **ORM**, unit testing, coverage tools, and automation. * Knowledge of **continuous integration and automated deployments**. * Proficiency in **Git** and collaborative work in technical teams. * Ability to design backend architectures and lead technical decisions. * Experience coordinating or technically guiding other developers. * English language proficiency at **B2 level or higher**, both written and spoken. * Strong analytical ability, organizational skills, and quality orientation. * **Nice-to-Have** * Knowledge of **authentication and authorization**. * Proficiency in **SQL** and familiarity with **Java**. * Experience with **event-driven architectures** using **Kafka**. * Knowledge or experience in **MLOps** and **artificial intelligence**. * Participation in evaluation and research of new technologies. * Experience with **Scrum or Kanban**. * Familiarity with **GitLab**, **CI/CD pipelines**, and deployment automation. * Certifications in Python, backend architectures, agile methodologies, or software quality. ### **What We Offer** Hybrid Work (**Barcelona**) Versatile Growth: Learn new languages and earn technical certifications through our Expleo Academy.
