The professional will focus on prevention, promotion, maintenance, and recovery of functionality using any manual, physical, or chemical means available. Coordinate\-with Occupational Therapy, advise, accompany, and inform families regarding aspects related to this field. Responsibilities include, among others: · Ensure, together with the rest of the team, the proper adaptation of service users and their families, respecting relational customs and cultural diversity. · Identify problems, establish objectives, and define physiotherapy treatment in preventive, maintenance, and therapeutic aspects. · Inform and involve the service user, their family members, or reference person regarding objectives to be achieved, taking into account their capacities and needs concerning human body functionality. · Apply appropriate physiotherapy treatments and techniques individually or in groups. · Periodically review the functional status of service users, evaluate achieved objectives and applied treatments, and record\-them. · Prepare physiotherapy reports as requested, in accordance with professional practice and technical expertise. · Coordinate\-with Occupational Therapy in assessing the need for technical aids (wheelchairs, walkers, etc.) and advise on their use in coordination with the rest of the team. · Advise, accompany, and inform families regarding aspects related to this field. Any other occasional duties assigned by the immediate supervisor linked to the position. * Bachelor's Degree in Physiotherapy * Competencies / Knowledge: Specific complementary training in gerontology.
