Job Summary: We are seeking a heavy-duty fleet manager to maximize operational availability and optimize cost management while coordinating technical resources. Key Highlights: 1. Long-term solid project In Avinyonet del Penedès, we are looking for a candidate to comprehensively manage an expanding heavy-duty fleet comprising approximately 55–60 vehicles, including vans, rigid trucks, trailers, and semi-trailers. The primary responsibilities include maximizing operational availability, digitizing cost control, and coordinating internal and external workshop technical resources—always ensuring regulatory compliance and budget optimization. **Key responsibilities include:** analyzing vehicle lifecycle to optimize expenses; evaluating repairs versus replacements; planning maintenance shutdowns in coordination with logistics; supervising preventive and corrective maintenance; and ensuring that ITV (MOT), insurance policies, and tachographs remain up to date. Periodic visual inspections of heavy-duty units will also be conducted. A permanent contract is offered within a long-term solid project, with the opportunity to design workflows from scratch. The compensation package is competitive and tailored to the candidate’s profile and experience. Required Profile (Minimum and Desirable Requirements) Mandatory Requirements (Disqualifying Factors) * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years managing industrial heavy-duty vehicle fleets, or as Workshop Supervisor/Manager for industrial vehicles (trucks/buses). * Driving Licenses: Valid C+E license and Certificate of Professional Competence (CAP) are mandatory, with genuine willingness and ability to drive units periodically for mandatory inspections. * Digital Competencies: Proficient use of computer tools (advanced-level Excel and experience with fleet management software or ERPs). Desirable Requirements (Key Competitive Advantages) * Higher vocational training degree in Automotive Engineering, Motor Vehicle Maintenance, or Mechanical/Logistics Engineering. * Solid knowledge or prior experience in heavy-duty mechanics (hydraulic and pneumatic systems, truck diagnostics). * Certification/knowledge of ADR regulations.
