As part of our positioning as a leading company in the defense sector, we aim to strengthen our team with an **FPGA Development Engineer** for strategic defense-related projects.
**What will you do?**
* Design and develop **VHDL-based FPGA solutions** for communication systems.
* Implement and optimize **waveforms and data links (Layers 1 and 2\)**.
* Develop **digital signal processing (DSP) algorithms**: modulations, channel coding, synchronization, etc.
* Model and simulate communication systems using **MATLAB/Simulink**.
* Participate in the integration of solutions on **SoC, RFSoC or MPSoC platforms**.
* Collaborate in the validation and testing of communication systems within defense environments.
* Analyze performance and optimize solutions in terms of efficiency and hardware resource utilization.
* Prepare technical documentation associated with development and validation.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (hardware, software, systems).

✅ Degree in **Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field**.
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in **communication systems development**.
✅ Solid experience in **VHDL and FPGA development**.
✅ Proficiency in **MATLAB/Simulink** for modeling and simulation.
✅ Availability to work in Barcelona
