At **Itequia**, we are seeking a **Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)** to join the team of one of our key clients — a major **German pharmaceutical multinational** undergoing an ambitious digital transformation. This is a strategic role within their Digital Hub, with a strong emphasis on cloud architecture, DevOps, and platform engineering, contributing to innovative projects with global impact. **What will be your mission?** You will be responsible for defining and evolving cloud architecture standards, driving DevOps best practices, and ensuring the scalability, security, and efficiency of the company’s digital platforms. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and international stakeholders to lead high-impact technological initiatives for the business. ###### **Cloud Architecture and Strategy** * Design scalable and secure cloud architectures on Microsoft Azure. * Define cloud architecture standards, landing zones, and cloud governance models. * Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical architecture decisions. * Ensure architectural consistency across products and teams. ###### **Technical Leadership and Delivery** * Lead the design and implementation of Azure solutions across multiple development teams. * Define and promote DevOps best practices. * Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and automation processes. * Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies (Terraform, Bicep, ARM). * Participate in complex cloud migrations and transformations. * Promote Platform Engineering practices, Kubernetes, and microservices-based architectures. ###### **Security, Governance, and Compliance** * Ensure adherence to IT security, privacy, and governance policies. * Define identity, network, and data protection mechanisms. * Guarantee readiness for audits and regulatory requirements. * Participate in cost optimization, performance, and scalability initiatives. **What are we looking for?** A technology-driven professional passionate about cloud technologies, with architectural vision and the ability to provide technical leadership in complex environments. * University degree in Computer Engineering or related field. * Minimum **+3 years’ experience in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure or AWS).** * **Solid experience in:** + Microsoft Azure (Compute, Storage, Networking, Security, Service Bus, IoT, Azure Cache for Redis). + DevOps and CI/CD. + Cloud migrations. + Kubernetes / AKS. + Microservices architectures and distributed systems. + Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM). + Cloud security, identity, and governance. * **Familiarity with:** + MongoDB. + Microsoft SQL Server. * English proficiency at **B2 level or higher**. * Ability to work autonomously, problem-solving orientation, and proactive attitude. **What do we offer?** * A stable project with one of Europe’s leading pharmaceutical companies. * An international and multicultural environment. * Participation in high-impact digital transformation initiatives. * Cutting-edge technologies in Azure, DevOps, and Platform Engineering. * Hybrid work model with **1 day per week onsite in Mataró**. * Professional development and growth within a highly technological environment.
