We are currently looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team in Barcelona. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Incident and Technical Support Management Resolve technical and functional issues of internal software, acting as the first point of contact and escalating to the Development team when necessary. Support and Operations Coordination Supervise and coordinate the technical support team, as well as operational tasks and data management activities. Data Management and Validation Oversee data migrations, manipulations, and bulk data loads, ensuring their correct execution and quality. Process Automation and Improvement Develop scripts and internal tools to optimize recurring tasks and maintain/improve the ticketing system. Platform Documentation and Stability Ensure production stability, document technical processes, and coordinate with Development to ensure proper implementation of new features. REQUIRED PROFILE Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent, or an Advanced Vocational Training qualification in Multiplatform Applications, with proven experience. **Senior profile with hands-on technical experience:** capable of reading code, understanding complex architectures, manipulating databases, and independently developing internal tools. Experience supporting proprietary applications or management software in production environments. **Solid SQL knowledge:** queries, data manipulation, stored procedures, scripting, and automation of database operations. Ability to develop tools, scripts, and small internal applications to automate operational tasks. Ability to learn and document complex architectures (legacy \+ new development).
