ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATORS FOR SANT JOAN DE VILATORRADA AND SANT MARTÍ DE TORROELLA
We are seeking 5 environmental educators to implement the new door-to-door waste collection service in the municipality of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada and also in the town of Sant Martí de Torroella. Implementation will be carried out through various actions, among which the most important are: information and material distribution points for citizens, where residents will collect their assigned materials to make their waste contributions and learn about the new system; and distribution of materials to commercial establishments, consisting of delivering to each business its assigned kit of materials according to its waste generation (small bins or containers), enabling them to use the service. TEMPORARY CONTRACT: Start date: between 13 and 15 January; End date: between 14 and 21 February. WORKING HOURS: Weekly workload: 40 hours. Schedules: Commercial sector > Monday to Friday, 8:30–16:30; Domestic sector > Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, 8:45–15:15; Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, 13:45–20:15. SALARY: €18,000 gross per annum. 1. Execution of information and awareness-raising activities based on principles of intelligibility, proximity, and empathy. 2. Provision of information and resolution of queries regarding the use of the collection system. 3. Delivery and distribution of materials for door-to-door collection. 4. Parallel activities such as kit assembly, informational mail-outs, material coordination, among others. Working hours will vary depending on the activity to be performed. * Minimum 3 months’ experience. Experience in environmental education and other information campaigns will be valued. * Higher Vocational Training (FP) qualification. * Catalan (spoken and written: advanced level). * Spanish (spoken and written: advanced level). * Competencies/knowledge: Technician with higher education or university degree in environmental sciences. * Driving licence: B. * Temporary employment contract (1 month). * Full-time position.
