Our commitment is to provide guests with an unforgettable stay, and the kitchen is one of the fundamental pillars of that experience. **Job Mission:** Responsible for implementing strategy, standards, attributes, products, and operational efficiency optimization in the kitchen area across hotels. **What will you be doing?** * Implement the F\&B strategy through established standards based on products and culinary direction. * Supervise the daily management of F\&B operators and external partners. * Set prices and ensure short- and medium-term profitability of the F\&B area. * Collaborate in preparing your department's budget and monitor KPIs to ensure goal achievement. * Manage suppliers, requesting approved products and providing feedback to the F\&B Partner. * Develop and implement marketing campaigns and supervise their execution. * Actively participate in the selection and training of the kitchen team, ensuring their professional development. * Guarantee food safety through the implementation of regulations and APPCC audits. * Drive sustainability initiatives, such as reducing food waste and incorporating local products. * Ensure customer experience in the gastronomic area, exceeding expectations and managing any incidents. **What are we looking for?** * University degree in Tourism or training in Gastronomy/Culinary Arts, with specialization or updates on culinary trends. * Fluency in the local language and advanced level of English. * Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within 4- or 5-star hotels. * Knowledge of food handling, hygiene, and food safety. * Skills in economic management and analysis within the kitchen area. * Knowledge of hotel operations and implementation of new gastronomic concepts. * Ability to lead teams, with strong communication skills. * Results-driven with economic objectives, proactive in planning and organization. * Commitment to sustainability and service excellence. **At Meliá, we are all VIP** *At Meliá Hotels International, we champion equal opportunities between women and men in the workplace, supported by management commitment and principles outlined in our Human Resources policies.
