Description

A Gerocultor/a is required for an assisted living residence for elderly people, accommodating 24 residents. Located in El Masnou, a 2-minute walk from the Renfe station. Direct care for residents, support in basic daily activities, assistance and companionship, following a person-centered care model. Direct attention and care for the residents of the facility. Support and/or performance of basic daily living activities (BDLAs): hygiene, dressing, feeding, mobility, and elimination. Performing postural changes and mobilizations, correctly using available technical aids. Supervision and accompaniment of residents during various activities and within different areas of the center. Support during meals and monitoring of food intake when necessary. Maintaining order, hygiene, and comfort in residents’ rooms and common areas. Observing residents’ general condition and reporting any changes or incidents to the healthcare team. Participation in leisure, stimulation, and animation activities organized by the center. Emotional support and companionship, promoting close, respectful, and personalized interactions. Collaboration with the interdisciplinary team and coordination with nursing staff and other professionals. Documentation of interventions and care provided, according to established center procedures. Compliance with hygiene protocols, risk prevention, safety, and socio-healthcare standards. Upholding residents’ dignity, privacy, autonomy, and well-being. VOCATIONAL TRAINING QUALIFICATION – INTERMEDIATE LEVEL * Temporary employment contract (2 months) * Full-time working hours * Gross monthly salary ranging from '1221' to '1300'
