Department and Therapeutic Area Description Located in Barcelona, the Development Finance Hub is a team of finance professionals working cross-functionally with development units and central development functions. They provide data-driven financial insights, transparency, and proactive decision-making support across the entire product development lifecycle. Bringing together diverse and international talent, the hub plays a key role in balancing innovation, productivity, and portfolio performance while fostering collaboration, digital capabilities, and continuous improvement within Global Development Finance. Trainee’s day-to-day responsibilities: Perform monthly close activities by delivering accurate data and relevant business analysis to support monthly reviews and ad hoc requests. **Support the FP\&A team** by providing accurate data and ensuring appropriate tracking and measurement of budget performance, collaborating with functional teams to monitor their spend. Support annual budgeting, continuous forecasting (rolling forecast), and strategic planning. REQUIREMENTS **What profile are we looking for?** ------------------------- * Eligibility requirements for the program * University degree in Finance or Economics. * **Availability to sign an internship agreement for a minimum of 6 months**. Extension up to 12 months will be considered. * **Fluent level of English (written and spoken).** * Advanced proficiency in office tools and digital tools. * Availability to work full-time. * Availability to start from April 2025, with possibility to attend Novartis offices in Barcelona in person.
