Join the **Beach Centre team**, an information, meeting, and training space for all individuals interested in Barcelona’s coastline and related topics. This centre offers a wide range of activities including exhibitions, workshops, guided walks, storytelling sessions, visits, performances, discussion forums, games, as well as information and advisory services about the coastline, free lending of beach games, among others. **Where will you work?** At the **Barcelona Beach Centre** (Somorrostro Beach). **What type of contract do we offer?** Fixed-term discontinuous contract starting **1 April 2026**. **What will your working hours and schedule be? (We offer several shifts/options):** * Part-time on weekends and coverage of other educators’ holidays + biweekly meetings. * Tuesdays to Fridays, 10:00–14:00 + rotating weekends. **What will be your duties and responsibilities?** * Respond to citizen **information and consultation requests**. * Provide **information**, manage **bookings** and **registrations**, and facilitate the centre’s educational activities. * Conduct **guided tours** of the centre’s exhibitions. * Manage and **coordinate activities** carried out with collaborators. * Support coordination of tasks related to conceptualization, facilitation, and evaluation of the activity program, services and resources, and the centre’s outreach and networking plan. * Support preparation of **weekly, monthly, and annual reports**. **What are we looking for?** * A candidate holding a Higher Education Diploma, Vocational Training qualification, university degree, bachelor’s or diploma in fields related to **environmental sciences, biology, education, or social sciences**. * **1 to 5 years of verifiable experience** in environmental and/or sustainability education and communication. * Additional qualifications such as **leisure activity monitor certification**, and advanced user-level computer skills in **Microsoft Office** (Excel proficiency) and image processing are valued. * Catalan language proficiency at **C1 level is mandatory**, and **B1 English is desirable**. * Submission of a negative criminal record certificate for sexual offences. **Competencies and Skills:** * Public service skills, ability to adapt to diverse population profiles and embrace diversity. * Capacity for incident management and resolution. * Ability to collaborate effectively in teams and networks with other stakeholders. * Dynamism and proactivity. * Autonomy and responsibility. * Teamwork and cooperation. * Flexibility and adaptability to change. **What does working at Anthesis mean?** It means joining a **B Corp™ consultancy**, where sustainability is not just a word but a daily action.
