**3. Functions and responsibilities** **3.1. Support to the optometrist in the clinic** * Preparation of the clinic room, instruments, and patient before each consultation. * Performing preliminary tests under the supervision of the optician-optometrist: ◦ Visual acuity measurement with and without correction. ◦ Auto-refractometry and keratometry. ◦ Non-contact tonometry. ◦ Other complementary tests as per the center's protocol and accredited training (perimetry, retinography, topography). * Recording results in the clinical history/patient file according to internal protocols and data protection regulations. * Assisting with contact lens fitting and dispensing: instructing patients on handling, hygiene, and maintenance, always under the optometrist's guidance. **3.2. Lens prescription verification and eyeglass assembly** * Interpretation of the optical prescription (sphere, cylinder, axis, addition, prisms). * Verification of finished lenses and eyeglasses using a frontofocometer and quality control prior to delivery. * Taking fitting measurements: interpupillary distance, fitting height, pantoscopic angle, and vertex distance.Position Salary: €15,118.98–€25,107.69 per year Benefits: * Option for an indefinite-term contract * Uniform provided Work location: On-site employment
