Job Summary: We are seeking a Geriatric Care Assistant to provide direct care to residents, supporting them in daily activities and safeguarding their overall well-being. Key Responsibilities: 1. Direct attention and support to residents in daily activities. 2. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care. 3. Promotion of autonomy and well-being within a safe and dignified environment. A Geriatric Care Assistant is required for a residential facility for elderly persons. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing direct care to residents, assisting them with basic activities of daily living, and ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with the center’s multidisciplinary team to guarantee personalized, comprehensive care, promoting residents’ autonomy while maintaining a safe, dignified, and needs-appropriate environment. Assist residents with basic activities of daily living: personal hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility. Assist with resident mobilization, transfers, and postural changes. Accompany residents within the facility and during scheduled activities. Support meal administration and monitor adequate hydration. Observe residents’ general condition and promptly report any incidents or changes to the healthcare team. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team in resident care and follow-up. Maintain order and cleanliness in the resident’s immediate environment and in the equipment used. Promote residents’ autonomy, well-being, and respect for their dignity. * Minimum 6 months of experience. Prior experience in caring for elderly persons in residential facilities, sociosanitary centers, or home care services will be valued. Candidates must demonstrate ability to assist residents with basic activities of daily living, as well as teamwork skills, respectful and empathetic attitude, and commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care focused on well-being and dignity. Experience in mobilization techniques, feeding assistance, and adherence to healthcare team instructions will also be considered. * PROFESSIONAL SPECIALIZATION CERTIFICATE * Permanent employment contract * Full-time work schedule
