DESCRIPTION Position: Product Manager * Location: Girona * Contract type: Full-time * Estimated start date: Immediate Role description We are looking to add an electronic engineer to our team to help us design, prototype, and develop the electronic circuits and devices that support our printed electronics projects. Additionally, this person will manage data acquisition, processing, and transmission, facilitating its visualization on web platforms, apps, or other digital systems. This role will be key in transforming ideas into functional prototypes by integrating conventional electronics with printed electronics technologies. Responsibilities * Electronic design of circuits and schematics. * Design of standard PCBs and adaptation for integration with printed electronics. * Component selection, basic firmware design, and functional validation. * Integration of wireless communication modules (RFID, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth). * Close collaboration with the printed electronics team for hybrid integration. * Support in manufacturing and testing of short production runs. * Technical documentation and functionality validation. Requirements * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field. * Experience in PCB design (multilayer, rigid or flexible) using tools such as Altium, KiCad, or Eagle. * Microcontroller programming in C/C++ (ESP32, STM32, etc). * Knowledge of buses and protocols such as SPI, I2C, UART, BLE, Wi-Fi, or NFC. * Teamwork skills and effective communication with both technical and non-technical profiles. Valued positively * Previous experience in IoT, wearables, or printed electronics projects. * Familiarity with tools such as GIT and technical documentation. * Knowledge of validation, testing, or design for manufacturing (DFM) processes. * Ability to collaborate on solutions connecting sensors with web or mobile platforms. Familiarity with Node-RED, Firebase, or basic web development (HTML/JS) will be valued. * Knowledge of databases (such as Firebase, SQLite, InfluxDB, or MySQL) and connecting embedded systems to these platforms for data storage and retrieval.
