Description
Research and Development Engineer with a disability equal to or greater than 33%, Senior Scientist in Fluids and Materials Engineering. Educational level: Bachelor's degree/Graduate degree in Physics, Biomedical Engineering or related field, and Master's or PhD. Languages: English C1. Contract type: Permanent employment contract. Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., 1 hour for lunch. Salary: €2857 gross per month.
Lead technical investigations and continuous improvement projects for the QIAstat\-Dx platform. Design and execute troubleshooting strategies to identify root causes related to materials, manufacturing, quality, and field performance. Optimize microfluidic workflows and system performance to improve product robustness. Drive investigations related to customer complaints and implement corrective actions. Contribute to product development and innovation initiatives within integrated diagnostic systems. Collaborate with R\+D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to reach consensus on solutions and deliver improvements. Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and quality requirements, including ISO 13485\.
* 48 months of experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in diagnostics, medical devices, or other regulated sectors. Practical experience in experimental design, data analysis, and root cause investigation. Experience in microfluidics, cartridge\-based systems, or integrated diagnostic platforms. Experience working in regulated environments and familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485\).
