Data Engineer / Data Modeler Data Engineer / Data Modeler (AWS, DWH, Lakehouse) Hybrid in Barcelona At BAOSS, we are looking to hire a Data Engineer / Data Modeler to participate in strategic projects within the Data area, collaborating on defining the data model and operational model that will support new corporate applications and Artificial Intelligence solutions on the AWS Cloud environment. You will participate in the design and evolution of data models oriented both toward corporate applications and analytical and AI use cases, working closely with technical and business teams. Responsibilities Define and design data models for new corporate applications and AI solutions. Design operational models and consumption layers tailored to various business use cases. Participate in defining reusable data structures and semantic models. Translate functional requirements into efficient and scalable modeling solutions. Ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility. Collaborate with technical and functional teams to ensure proper information usage. Contribute to defining best practices for data modeling and data governance. Participate in evolving the data platform and associated operational models. Requirements Experience as a Data Engineer, Data Modeler, or similar role. Strong knowledge of conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling. Experience designing data operational models. Proficiency in SQL. Experience with Data Warehouse (DWH) and/or Lakehouse architectures. Ability to understand business needs and translate them into reusable solutions. Autonomy, technical judgment, and strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders. Highly desirable Experience with Snowflake. Experience with AWS Cloud.
