This role is key to leading the technological and strategic vision within the team, playing a crucial role in directing and executing technological initiatives related to payment issuance in both physical and e-commerce environments. The ideal candidate must have a solid technical profile, preferably with prior experience in software development, and must be able to lead technology teams while closely collaborating in defining the company's technological strategy, ensuring that developed solutions align with the organization's global business objectives. They will maintain close communication with various departments within the bank, such as Business, Architecture, Security, Design, as well as other stakeholders when necessary. **Responsibilities** Technological Leadership: Lead and manage technology teams focused on building and maintaining robust payment platforms and multichannel developments. Define and lead the technical vision, strategy, and architecture for payment solutions. Platform Design and Development: Design, develop, and optimize payment platforms supporting all aspects related to issuance, tokenization, and multichannel feature development. Payment Issuance Solutions: Develop and oversee payment issuance processes, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable solutions for physical and online transactions, payment acceptance and authorization, new payment rails, etc. Collaboration: Work closely with product, operations, and business teams to align technological initiatives with business objectives and customer needs. Project Management: Manage complex technology projects, ensuring on-time delivery, quality, and budget compliance, leading teams across multiple geographies. Innovation: Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the payments industry to ensure the company’s platform remains competitive and at the forefront. Generate Reports, Presentations, and Strategic Analysis: Lead the creation and presentation of detailed reports, data visualizations, and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making. This includes estimating and planning the technology roadmap, assessing risks and opportunities, and presenting clear, actionable conclusions to executive teams and key stakeholders. Ensure these reports reflect both technical performance metrics and business strategic goals, facilitating effective communication aligned with the organization’s long-term vision. Front: As the mobile channel is our primary entry point, knowledge of front-end technologies such as web components or even experience with cells will be highly valued. **Professional Experience** Experience in Payment Methods, primarily in the issuing domain: physical, virtual, new payment rails, etc. Knowledge of the payments industry: networks, processors, certifications, 3DS, fraud, tokenization, etc. Technical Engineering Degree/Bachelor's in Computer Science or Telecommunications desirable. Team leadership experience: minimum 2 years. Software Development: Background in software development and technological architecture design. Prior experience in programming or software engineering is particularly valued. Experience executing technology projects in complex and global environments. Functional knowledge of the payment methods business, and knowledge of other banking services/products is an advantage.
