And now... we're looking for a **Payroll Assistant and HR Generalist** in Barcelona to join our HR Operations team and contribute to the growth of our organization! What kind of candidate are we looking for? We are seeking someone with **solid experience in payroll and personnel administration**, combining operational precision with analytical ability and attention to detail. **This role requires autonomy, organizational skills, and strong communication abilities to manage both internal processes and employee inquiries**. It is essential to have **prior experience with payroll systems (preferably Meta4), advanced Excel skills, and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines**. The ideal candidate will be proactive, meticulous, and eager to contribute to continuous improvement in HR processes. Your responsibilities: * **Ensure accurate execution of payroll** in accordance with company guidelines and current legal regulations. * Timely management of **employee onboarding and offboarding**. * Process all **monthly timesheets**. * **Keep all employee information updated** in the payroll system. * **Stay up to date with legislative changes** and implement them as required. * **Process all mandatory and corporate monthly payments** (e.g., maternity, paternity, sick leave, vacation). * Serve as the **primary point of contact for payroll-related matters**. * **Respond to employee inquiries** regarding payroll, in collaboration with HR Business Partners. * **Manage monthly payments to external providers** related to payroll. * **Perform calculations and administrative tasks** related to termination procedures. * **Review, record, and reconcile all monthly changes** affecting payroll to ensure accuracy. * **Prepare ad hoc reports for the Finance department** as needed. * **Support internal and external audits**. What we're looking for in you: * **Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll**; experience in personnel administration will be valued. * Ability to drive continuous improvements in payroll processes. * **Self-motivated and proactive individual**. * Ability to **analyze data and spreadsheets**. * Accuracy and ability to work under tight deadlines. * **Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel**. * **Prior experience with payroll systems (Meta4 is a plus)**. * **Excellent communication and organizational skills**.
