At EADTrust, we develop cutting-edge solutions in the fields of cryptography and legal tech, and we are seeking a Java Team Lead with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to guide a team of developers in designing, developing, and implementing robust enterprise solutions. The ideal candidate will combine solid technical expertise in Java environments, a collaborative and results-oriented mindset, and the ability to manage a product ecosystem spanning varying levels of technological maturity. They must be comfortable working both on evolving established systems (legacy) and on developing new products, understanding the priorities and specific characteristics of each. Responsibilities: * Lead and coordinate the development team’s work, ensuring code quality and adherence to deadlines. * Actively participate in architectural design and technical decision-making. * Maintain an overarching view across different products, prioritizing initiatives and ensuring technical consistency among them. * Oversee the entire software development lifecycle (analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment). * Review other team members’ code prior to production release during pair reviews. * Balance legacy modernization efforts with advancement of new development initiatives. * Promote sound programming practices, agile methodologies, and a culture of continuous improvement. * Coach and mentor team developers. * Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, Systems, and other departments to ensure successful project delivery. * Minimum Requirements: * Solid experience (minimum 3 years) in Java / Spring Boot development. * Prior experience leading technical teams or serving as a technical reference. * Familiarity with frameworks and tools such as Spring and Git. * Experience with REST APIs, relational databases (MariaDB), and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP). * Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). * Knowledge of CI/CD practices. * Ability to coordinate, motivate, and support technical teams operating in contexts with varying levels of technological maturity. Preferred Qualifications: * Knowledge of secure development practices and familiarity with trust services and eIDAS and eIDAS2 regulations. * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architectures. * Experience designing scalable and secure architectures. * Intermediate or advanced level of English.
