As part of our positioning as a leading company in the defense sector, we seek to hire a **Senior RF \& Tactical Networks Engineer**, to participate in the **SIAGEN CTN project**, contributing to the design, development, and integration of advanced embedded communications systems in demanding operational environments.
What will you do?
* Design, develop, and integrate **embedded tactical radio links** for mission-critical systems.
* Implement and evolve the **network layer of tactical waveforms**, ensuring interoperability, robustness, and performance.
* Develop **network protocols and architectures**: routing, controlled flooding, MANET, and **QoS mechanisms**.
* Participate in **software integration** on embedded platforms and distributed systems.
* Collaborate on **conceptual channel and radio link modeling** (unclassified).
* Validate and verify developed solutions within **complex software life cycles**.
* Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure overall system coherence.
* Prepare technical documentation and participate in project technical reviews.
What are we looking for in you?

✅ Proven experience of **5–10 years** in **tactical or mission-critical communications systems**.
✅ Solid knowledge of **radio communications**, network protocols, and **embedded systems architecture**.
✅ Experience in **developing network protocols and distributed architectures** (MANET, routing, QoS).
✅ Experience in **software integration** on embedded platforms or distributed systems.
✅ Knowledge of **channel and radio link modeling** at a conceptual level.
✅ Experience in environments with **complex software life cycles** (DO‑178, ISO/IEC 12207 or equivalent frameworks).
Required / Valued Technical Skills
* **C / C\+\+** (advanced level).
* **Network Management** (advanced).
* **Python** for support, automation, and analysis (advanced).
Functional Knowledge
* **Defense and Security Communications Systems** (advanced).

✅ Availability to work in **Alcobendas**, under a **hybrid model (40% remote work annually)**.
