Tax Technician

At Dia, we are looking to hire a **Tax Technician** for the **Finance Department**. The selected candidate will join the team with the objective of ensuring Grupo Dia’s compliance with its tax obligations. Their **main responsibilities** will be: * Preparing notes and reports in response to queries from various business areas; analyzing the tax impact of new group business projects; providing ongoing tax advisory services; and delivering presentations to management. * Supporting monthly tax closing and preparing the Corporate Income Tax (IS) return; collaborating and providing support regarding VAT, reconciliations, and tax filings. * Preparing, reviewing, and validating accounting and tax documentation required by tax inspections. * Drafting objections, appeals for reconsideration, and economic-administrative claims against the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) or local tax authorities, as well as responding to official information requests from public administrations. * Managing tax-related obligations (Certificates and Local Taxes). * An innovative mindset to help implement artificial intelligence in tax processes. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration and Management (ADE), Economics, or a Dual Degree. * Master’s degree in Tax Advisory. * Over 1 year of experience in tax departments. * Proficiency in office tools (Microsoft Office suite, Google tools), SAP, Power BI, and knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI). **What can we offer you?** * Permanent full-time employment contract. * Hybrid work model, helping you balance your personal and professional life. * Opportunity to join one of Spain’s companies with the Best Corporate Reputation, according to the Merco Companies Ranking 2025\. * Discount on your Dia purchases. * Access to our training platform. * A positive working environment.
