Therefore, we are seeking a **Data Engineer** to join our IT team — a key role to further drive the management and exploitation of data supporting business decision-making. We are looking for a candidate with experience in Microsoft Fabric and Azure environments, capable of designing, building, and evolving data solutions that contribute to the company’s growth and continuous improvement of our processes. ### **What will be your mission?** Design, develop, and optimize the organization’s data infrastructure, ensuring data availability, quality, and scalability to support the business’s analytical and strategic needs. ### **Key responsibilities** * Design, build, and maintain the corporate Data Warehouse, ensuring its performance and scalability. * Develop and implement data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric. * Manage and optimize data storage and processing structures in Azure. * Design, develop, and maintain automated and efficient ETL/ELT pipelines. * Implement best practices for data modeling, data quality, and data governance. * Collaborate closely with Business Intelligence, Analytics, and Business teams to ensure data availability and accessibility. * Monitor and optimize query and data processing performance. * Document architectures, processes, and information flows. ### **What are we looking for?** * Experience in data engineering and development of analytical solutions. * Solid knowledge of Microsoft Fabric (Data Factory, Lakehouse, Data Engineering). * Experience in designing, building, and maintaining Data Warehouses. * Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, or similar services. * Proficiency in SQL for querying, optimization, and data modeling. * Experience developing ETL/ELT processes. * Knowledge of Python, PySpark, or similar technologies. * Analytical, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. * Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. ### **We especially value** * Knowledge of Power BI. * Experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Airflow, or similar tools. * Microsoft Azure certifications. * Knowledge of Git and CI/CD practices. * Experience working under Agile methodologies. * Knowledge of data governance, security, and quality. ### **What do we offer?** * Join a leading company in the optical sector with over 40 years of history. * Be part of a growing initiative with cross-functional impact across various business areas. * Participate in strategic initiatives and transformation projects with tangible impact on the company. * Integrate into a collaborative, approachable, and innovative environment where continuous improvement is part of everyday life. * Hybrid work model. * Health insurance. * Corporate benefits for employees. * Continuous training and professional development opportunities. * Job stability and opportunities for growth within the organization.
