Position Summary: CASVI Tres Cantos School is seeking a Library Coordinator to comprehensively manage the library space, promote reading, and support the educational community. Key Highlights: 1. Active participation in cross-curricular educational projects and activities. **Library Coordinator\- CASVI American International School – Tres Cantos** **Contract Type:** Full-time / Maternity leave cover with potential for subsequent permanent incorporation **Location:** **Tres Cantos, Madrid** CASVI Tres Cantos School seeks to hire a full-time Library Coordinator responsible for the comprehensive management of the school’s library space, as well as promoting reading and supporting the educational community in utilizing available resources. **Main Responsibilities** * Management and organization of the library collection (cataloging, classification, maintenance, and inventory). * Assistance and guidance to students, teachers, and families in using the library. * Design and implementation of reading promotion activities and cultural engagement initiatives. * Coordination with the teaching staff to integrate the library into educational projects. * Management of loans, returns, and acquisition of new materials. * Maintenance of order, organization, and good condition of the library space. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education or a related educational field. * English proficiency level C1/C2\. * Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and service orientation. * Communication skills and experience interacting with children and families. **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior experience in libraries or documentation center management. * Experience in international or bilingual educational settings. * Initiative in designing reading motivation activities. **Offered** * Full-time contract. * Integration into an excellent team and work environment, with committed students and teaching staff. * Free meals and breakfast, with no salary deductions. * Active participation in the school’s cross-curricular educational projects and activities. * Opportunity for future professional incorporation and development within an established international educational project.
