




**Job Description Summary** =========================== The Control Technician is responsible for supporting control engineers and supervisors in creating and implementing solutions that deliver, maintain, and improve operational performance, capabilities, and cybersecurity at the Plant. Additionally, will support the Smart Factory strategy as well as expansion plans.**Job Description** =================== Responsibilities * Collaborate with different departments of the Plant in the development of Engineering and Maintenance activities. * Collaborate with the Production department to technologically upgrade and optimize the production process. * Participate in Continuous Improvement projects. * Participate in research and development for continuous improvement of machinery in production processes. * Participate in the expansion of facilities and services to meet plant needs. * Develop programming for PLCs of new machinery and modifications to existing ones. * Understand and have experience in manufacturing processes in industrial plants, preferably in the medical devices sector, control electrical systems, equipment, and machinery. * Serve as a technical resource for the Plant and engineering team to provide support and deliver automation and control solutions to resolve production issues and improve equipment performance. * Participate in activities to adopt company guidelines in cybersecurity and Smart Factory. * Understand and work with PLCs, SCADAs, Windows-based PC applications, industrial networks, connectivity, Edge and Cloud configuration, data analytics, and how to apply these technologies to manufacturing while maintaining security. * Provide support to production and maintenance for company systems including EH\&S, OEE and plant performance indicators, Process Control and Automation, reporting and analytical systems for Operations, MES and others.\-Comply with safety and environmental regulations applicable to the job position Requirements * Medium or Higher Vocational Training degree in automation or similar; or equivalent demonstrated extensive experience. * Desired experience: 2 years in Automation, Robotics, Control, IT. * Knowledge of PLC programming languages. * Good command of spoken and written English. * Office applications, control software (PLCs), Windows-based PC applications, SCADAs, HMIs, Industrial Networks, Edge and Cloud configuration, Cybersecurity.
