




DESCRIPTION SAMOA INDUSTRIAL, S.A. is the parent company of a multinational industrial group, whose headquarters are located in Gijón, with a business volume of 100 million euros, production centers in Spain, England, France, Germany, Sweden, Italy and the USA, and worldwide commercial presence in over 110 countries. It is considered a leader in the design and manufacturing of transfer equipment, pumps for fluid handling, as well as measurement and control equipment for fluids in sectors such as automotive, process industry and manufacturing, agriculture, construction, chemicals and mining, ... Linter Technical Center, S.L. has been established as the Corporate R&D Center of the Samoa Group and, from its facilities in Gijón, leads and manages the research and development of products to their industrialization, as well as technical assistance and staff training within the Group. Currently, it is developing a significant expansion project and wishes to expand its professional team by incorporating **JUNIOR PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEERS** **MISSION** To conceive, develop and improve product design solutions for fluid handling and control equipment, participating in the entire R&D cycle: ideation, CAD modeling, laboratory validation and support during industrialization. Candidates are expected to show initiative in proposing alternatives, use test data to make decisions, and clearly communicate within multidisciplinary teams. **WE OFFER** * Incorporation through an FUO grant at Linter Technical Center (Gijón – Porceyo), with a stipend of 1,000€ gross/month and a structured learning plan. * Mentorship from day one, objectives set at 3-6-12 months, and the possibility of joining as a Junior Engineer upon positive evaluation. * Company-sponsored specific training: advanced SolidWorks, analysis/simulation, testing, technical documentation, design procedures, as well as communication and teamwork skills. * Real R&D projects impacting Group products, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and international exposure. REQUIREMENTS **REQUIRED** Recent graduates or those pending submission of their final degree project (TFG) with an engineering background and a clear technical vocation, possessing the following characteristics: * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronic Engineering. Other degrees that may add value will not be ruled out. * Advanced proficiency in office software (Office); experience with ERP systems will be valued. * Practical knowledge of computer-aided design (preferably SolidWorks); experience with other CAD programs will be considered. * Minimum English level B2 (other languages will be valued). * Availability for occasional travel. * Class B driver's license. * Interest and motivation to start a professional career in R&D environments, eager to learn and progressively take on new responsibilities. * Ability to integrate into multidisciplinary teams, contribute ideas, and clearly communicate proposals both orally and in writing. * Proactive, collaborative attitude and results-oriented mindset.
