Currently, it is developing an important expansion project and wishes to expand its professional team by incorporating **PRODUCT MANAGER** **MISSION** The Product Manager, reporting directly to the Technical Director, leads the complete cycle of definition, development and industrialization of the assigned product portfolio, aligning initial requirements, regulations and target cost with committed timelines. Coordinates multidisciplinary teams, subsidiaries and suppliers, makes data-driven decisions and ensures product competitiveness and margin. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * **Requirements and specifications:** Convert customer/market needs and inputs from Product Conceptualization into measurable technical specifications, acceptance criteria and target cost with traceability until launch. * **Development management:** Lead the complete design and development cycle, standards for drawings and tolerances, and good DFM/DFA practices; review and approve design reviews and consolidate deliverables in PDM/PLM with version control. * **Technical validation and laboratories/prototypes:** Define validation plan, coordinate prototypes/pre-series, test instrumentation and analysis of results. * **Industrialization and launch:** Ensure manufacturability and assembly feasibility in Group plants, prepare series release, support ramp-up, manage manufacturing issues and optimize time/costs in collaboration with Quality, Purchasing and Manufacturing. * **Cost and competitiveness:** Monitor material and manufacturing costs, convergence to target cost and agreed margin. * **Regulatory compliance and documentation:** Ensure that design and documentation (technical files, conformity declarations, manuals) comply with applicable technical and safety regulations for products and target markets. * **Change and product information management:** Manage change cycles, ensure traceability, drawing versioning and shared documentation for industrialization. * **Internal coordination and with subsidiaries/suppliers:** Consolidate regulatory requirements and country-specific customization, channel After-Sales and market feedback into the roadmap. * **Methodology and continuous improvement:** Design and standardize departmental processes and methodologies (templates, standards, checklists, etc.), develop team capabilities and promote parts/processes standardization. * **Indicators and reporting:** Define and monitor key KPIs (schedule/milestone compliance, cost deviations, startup rejections, field incidents post-launch), reporting to the Technical Management. **WE OFFER** * Participation in real R&D projects with impact on the Samoa Group's product catalog, collaboration with international teams and subsidiaries. * Professional development within the Group and a collaborative, dynamic environment focused on results. * Continuous technical training provided by the company. * Competitive compensation commensurate with experience and responsibility of the position. Currently, it is developing a significant expansion project and wishes to expand its professional team by incorporating a **PRODUCT DESIGN ENGINEER** **MISSION** The Product Engineer at Linter Technical Center will be responsible for leading the technical development of new products from conception through to industrialization, ensuring their technical feasibility, quality, safety and market competitiveness. The role will focus on the design and improvement of equipment for fluid transfer, pumping, measurement and control, aimed at industrial sectors such as automotive, chemicals, paint and coating applications, lubrication and general industrial processes. From its position within the R&D center of the Samoa Group located in Gijón, the engineer will actively contribute to the innovation of technical solutions applied to mass-produced products, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and international subsidiaries to ensure that developed products meet the organization’s defined technical, regulatory and cost standards, and are easily industrialized across the group’s production plants. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * **End-to-end product design**: translate requirements into technical specifications; define component and subsystem architecture; CAD modeling (SolidWorks) of parts/assemblies; generation of 2D drawings with functional dimensioning and tolerances; creation and maintenance of BOM/EBOM and associated documentation. * **Data-driven analysis and decision-making**: plan and conduct design reviews; compare alternatives considering performance–cost–manufacturability; perform basic calculations/simulations (when applicable), and justify decisions using test results and objective technical criteria. * **Validation planning and prototyping**: define test plans, coordinate prototype/pre-series manufacturing, set up testing procedures, establish acceptance criteria, analyze results and propose design iterations until quality and safety objectives are met. * **Industrialization and production support**: ensure design manufacturability and assembly feasibility, prepare plant releases, participate in pre-series assembly and verification, address startup issues, and optimize cycle times and costs together with Manufacturing, Procurement and Quality teams. * **Configuration and change management**: maintain product traceability in PDM/PLM systems, manage change requests, control drawing and document versions, and maintain technical files and conformity declarations. * **Regulatory compliance**: design in accordance with applicable technical and safety regulations; coordinate regulatory adaptations for international markets/subsidiaries; prepare technical, installation and maintenance manuals. * **Multidisciplinary collaboration**: work closely with Laboratory, Technical Office, Quality, Procurement, After-sales and subsidiaries; clearly communicate proposals and decisions during milestones and design reviews; collect market feedback and integrate it into product design. * **Continuous improvement and standardization**: drive VA/VE (value analysis/value engineering) initiatives, standardize components/processes, capture lessons learned and contribute to the product’s technology roadmap. * **Training and technical support**: develop training materials and train internal teams and subsidiaries on new products, assembly procedures and acceptance criteria. **WE OFFER** * Involvement in real R&D projects impacting the Samoa Group's product catalog, along with collaboration with international teams and subsidiaries. * Professional growth within the Group and a collaborative, dynamic, results-oriented environment. * Continuous technical training funded by the company. * Competitive compensation aligned with experience and responsibilities.
