What will you do? As Coordinator of the Children's Leisure Centre located in Barcelona, you will serve as the reference person for the project, both educationally and organizationally. Your role will combine team leadership, direct intervention, and coordination with families and the community.
Educational Coordination and Leadership
- Plan, coordinate, and evaluate the centre’s activity programme.
- Support and supervise the educational team, fostering engagement, teamwork, and a positive working atmosphere.
- Welcome and integrate new professionals (monitors, workshop facilitators, etc.).
- Participate in community-level coordination with local stakeholders.
Direct Intervention with Children and Families
- Intervene directly with children, promoting safe, participatory, and inclusive educational spaces.
- Serve as a trusted reference figure for children and their families.
- Adapt strategies and methodologies according to children’s and group needs.
Service Management and Organization
- Organize and take responsibility for the annual programme, quarterly reports, and the annual activity report.
- Monitor progress toward educational objectives and propose improvements when needed.
- Plan and manage the service budget (consumable materials and activities).
- Participate in training to continue developing your educational practice.
️ Schedule and Working Hours
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Typical Schedule: Afternoons from Monday to Friday, 15:00–20:15 h; plus 3 mornings per week (to be confirmed).
Contract Terms: Temporary contract with possibility of becoming permanent.
Workplace: Barcelona.
Start Date: Immediate.

* Experience: 1 year. Higher education degree in socio-educational fields. Minimum 1 year of experience coordinating teams. Experience in educational leisure services and activities. Organizational skills, responsibility, and autonomy. Flexibility, adaptability, and leadership abilities. Strong interpersonal skills with children, families, and teams. Valid certificate confirming no criminal record for sexual offences. Immediate availability.
