We are a hotel group on the Costa Brava and are seeking a Reception Manager for one of our hotels \- Hotel Cap Roig, located in Platja d'Aro, Girona. Key responsibilities include: \- Managing reservations. \- Coordinating work teams and their schedules. \- Ensuring team procedures comply with company requirements. \- Collaboratively setting reception objectives to improve guest service. \- Evaluating individual employee performance and reporting it to superiors. \- Verifying that all guest preferences are accurately recorded in their reservations. \- Establishing and supporting active engagement by the reception team. \- Coordinating communication with other departments, especially Housekeeping, Restaurant, and Maintenance. \- Assisting guests during check-in and check-out. \- Providing personalized assistance to guests to resolve questions, requests, or issues. \- Participating in the recruitment process for reception staff. Requirements and languages: \- Minimum 2 years’ experience in reception or sales. \- University degree in Tourism or equivalent vocational training (CFGS) is desirable. \- Must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish, Catalan, French, and English (knowledge of additional languages is an asset). \- Familiarity with Property Management Systems (PMS), e.g., Sihot, and sales is valued. \- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle. Full-time position: 40 hours per week, on rotating shifts from 7:00 to 15:00 and from 15:00 to 23:00, with breaks as stipulated by law. Schedules may vary according to business needs.
