**SOCIAL EDUCATOR** **At a CREI managed by Resilis Foundation** **Territorial area:** Barcelona, Tordera **Type of contract:** Temporary afternoon position **Working hours:** Full-time (100%) ###### **Mission of the position** The Resilis Foundation*defends the rights of children and adolescents.*It implements and delivers comprehensive support projects and services for children and young people at social risk or likely to experience it. It manages residential care centers, CRAEs, CREIs, open centers, and other resources. We work so that children, young people, and adolescents can exercise their right to grow up, live, and develop in safe environments, and so they can progressively achieve their autonomy. ###### **Functions and responsibilities** * Act as an educational agent at individual, group, and/or community levels. * Carry out educational activities. * Prepare reports and documentation, plan activities, and conduct educational follow-up. * Perform domestic and daily living tasks, ensuring their proper execution. * Coordinate interdisciplinary collaboration both internally and externally. * Act consistently with the service’s project and the organization’s mission. * Respect the dignity of children and adolescents, their families, and all individuals at the center, regardless of origin or culture. * Be objective and maintain optimal professional distance, establishing positive affective bonds that foster the personal growth of adolescents. * Ability to work individually and in groups. * Empathy to better understand others and capacity to provide immediate responses in unforeseen situations. * Manage crises and conflicts. * Be creative and capable of managing available resources. * Ability to work under pressure. * Commit to continuous professional development. ###### **Required qualifications** * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Social Education or official qualification (mandatory). * Higher Vocational Training Certificate (CFGS) in Social Integration. * Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in the social field. ###### **Experience** * Additional specialized training in child and adolescent protection, as well as prior experience working with children and youth facing social exclusion, is valued—preferably within a CREI, CRAE, or Residential Care Center. ###### **Key competencies** * Communication * Autonomy * Innovation and continuous improvement * Planning and organization * Analysis and problem-solving * Teamwork ###### **Other requirements** * Additional specialized training in child and adolescent protection, as well as prior experience working with children and youth facing social exclusion, is valued—preferably within a CREI, CRAE, or Residential Care Center. * Proficiency in spoken and written Catalan, as well as standard office software. * Valid driver’s license held for over one year and personal vehicle. * In compliance with Article 13.5 of Organic Law 1/1996 on the Legal Protection of Minors, a valid Criminal Record Certificate for sexual offenses, issued by the Central Registry, is required prior to hiring. ##### **Offered** * **One temporary full-time (100%) position** * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 4:00 PM to 10:45 PM + REE (Friday, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM) * **Position category:** Senior Technician / Graduate Senior Technician * **Salary:** €26,007.66 gross/year, per the Social Action Collective Agreement (Social Education Category) * **Start date:** Immediate ###### **Flexible compensation benefits** Flexible compensation allows you to optimize your salary for everyday expenses: * Nursery school * ️ Training * Restaurants * Public transport * Health insurance
