From infinitely recyclable aluminum cans and cups to aerosol bottles—we aim to contribute to a better community, society, and world.** **Position Description:** * Ensure plant investment projects are executed on time, within cost, and according to defined technical specifications, delivering the economic and/or technical improvements outlined in the preliminary project. * Plan, implement, and support all continuous improvement projects carried out at the Plant to enhance technical processes and product quality. * Ensure all technical improvements proposed by departments are technically analyzed and evaluated to maintain tracking of the Investment Plan. * Coordinate process improvement teams using LEAN tools and project management methodologies (RCA, Project, etc.). **Key responsibilities include:** * Define project scope, plan and allocate necessary resources, and prepare budgets by requesting appropriate quotations. * Plan and supervise projects to ensure timely completion within budget. * Keep Plant Management informed about the medium-term investment plan and the status of ongoing projects. * Coordinate and supervise the installation of new projects, systems, facilities, and/or equipment. * Coordinate and supervise external personnel work to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. * Coordinate continuous improvement projects at the Plant using LEAN tools. * Supervise all new installations or process improvements implemented at the plant. * Report to Maintenance Manager/Management on project status, costs, and estimated timelines. * Ensure compliance with safety standards for equipment to be installed, as well as fulfillment of applicable legal requirements. * Support the procurement department in acquiring equipment and spare parts for new installations. Prepare necessary documentation to request supplier quotations. * Stay updated on new systems and technological innovations relevant to the area. Gather information from suppliers and manufacturers to drive facility innovation. * Support projects required by other Departments by performing designs, drawings, and purchasing necessary materials, as well as coordinating their installation. * Train or facilitate necessary training so plant personnel are qualified to perform their duties correctly and safely, including for new systems or installations. Provide required manuals for proper job performance. * Maintain up-to-date archives of documentation related to maintenance, machinery, systems, and installations. * Ensure areas where new installations or improvements occur are kept clean and orderly. * Participate in housekeeping and cleanliness audits. * Ensure external company personnel authorized to work at the Plant consistently follow safety, health, environmental, and quality requirements, and provide appropriate work permits when necessary. * Assist Production in actions ensuring proper use of new systems and installations. * Stay current on Industrial Safety regulations and standards. **What are we looking for?** * Engineering background preferred. * Expertise in LEAN tools, data analysis (Minitab), and project management tools (RCA, Project, etc.). * Strong knowledge of electricity, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, computer science, telecommunications, and electromechanics in general. * In-depth understanding of operation, handling, and maintenance of electrical and safety systems installed at the Plant. * Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written) preferred. Ability to comprehend technical texts. * Knowledge of Industrial Regulations. * Knowledge of Safety, Health, and Environmental standards affecting both personal work and that of subordinates and external service providers. #### **Ball Corporation is an equal opportunity employer.
