The Metalworkers’ Employers’ Association collaborates with LEHISA, a metalworking company and leader in brass component machining, based in Ripollet (Barcelona), with a strong presence in both the domestic and international markets (exports \+70% of sales) and outstanding reputation built over its 40-year history. We are seeking a Tool Assistant to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for supporting the preparation, organization, and control of tools, ensuring proper operation of the work area and compliance with standards for order, quality, and safety. Prepare, organize, and maintain the tools required for production. Support verification and control of tools and measuring instruments. Interpret basic blueprints for accurate identification of parts and tools. Maintain the work area clean, orderly, and in optimal condition. Comply with the company’s safety, quality, and organizational standards. Collaborate with the production team to ensure tool availability when required. * Minimum 2 years’ experience. Basic knowledge of 2D blueprint interpretation. Fundamentals of technical drawing. Basic familiarity with measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers. Prior experience in similar roles within industrial or manufacturing environments is preferred. * PROFESSIONAL SPECIALIZATION QUALIFICATION * Competencies / Knowledge: Attention to detail.
