Responsibilities Compass Group, the world leader in foodservice and support services with over 50 years of experience in Spain, is seeking to hire a Head Chef for a corporate dining facility in Pontevedra. What would your responsibilities be? * Prepare, dress, and present dishes competently, autonomously, and responsibly, applying the most appropriate culinary techniques. * Assist in buffet setup, service, and breakdown. * Complete center records such as traceability logs, allergen documentation, temperature logs, frying logs, etc. * Monitor storage conditions and optimal utilization of ingredients provided. * Collaborate in designing and implementing menu cycles. Requirements What are we looking for? * Ability to work effectively within a team. * Demonstrable experience in collective catering—ideally at least two years—with verifiable references. * Strong commitment to HACCP and PRPs (Prerequisite Programs). * A proactive and highly organized individual. * Relevant academic qualifications (proficiency in Word and Excel required). * Experience in self-service and plated meal service. * Broad knowledge of culinary techniques and healthy food trends.
