LANGUAGE TEACHER EXTERNAL REF: 274/2025 LOCATION: Malgrat de Mar AREA: Social Action PROGRAM: International Protection POSITION MISSION: Support program users in their social integration process through teaching Spanish and Catalan. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES** * Assess the language training needs of program users and refer them to appropriate learning levels. * Identify and coordinate other local language training resources. Refer program users to such resources following professional assessment. * Prepare and deliver Spanish and Catalan classes tailored to program users’ varying proficiency levels (literacy, intermediate, advanced). * Develop training materials adapted to different learning levels, for use by both teaching staff and learners. * Organize daily, weekly and/or monthly class schedules. * Conduct individualized tutoring sessions for users requiring additional support. * Draft monitoring reports and final program justification documents, as well as other documentation coordinated with other professionals. * Manage I3L, SIRIA (Information Systems for Refugees, Immigrants and Asylum Seekers) and/or other program databases or files. * Participate in team coordination meetings, as well as interdepartmental, interprogramme or interorganizational meetings. * Strengthen and support fellow professionals on the team. * Accompany and support volunteer or trainee staff within the programme. * Report any incidents arising during programme implementation to the designated programme coordinator. * As a member of Movimiento por la Paz \- MPDL \-, participate in initiatives aimed at preventing abuse and harassment, and ensuring compliance with and respect for the internal Code of Conduct. **EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS** * CONTRACT TYPE: Indefinite contract. Immediate start. Group 1 under the Social Action Collective Agreement. * WORKING HOURS: Full-time position — 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (35 hours/week during summer). Flexible scheduling to meet programme needs based on activity planning. * SALARY: As per organizational pay scales. * HOLIDAYS: 23 working days plus specific holidays stipulated in the Collective Agreement (pro-rated according to start date). **Profile:** **PROFILE** * EDUCATION: University degree (Diploma or Bachelor’s) in disciplines related to education or social intervention.
