The candidate will be responsible for preparing competitive bids to achieve optimal and competitive product solutions for each tender. They will lead, at program level, the definition and delivery of the most favorable product solution for the company globally, optimizing program cost/schedule/quality outcomes. They are also responsible for ensuring engineering activities are carried out in accordance with the Program Plan, managing the design plan and coordinating its progress. Some of the main responsibilities of the Technical Project Manager include: ensuring coordination with the Project Manager and coordinating Building Blocks during both the bidding and program phases; monitoring engineering personnel assigned to the program; collecting, challenging, and consolidating economic performance forecasts—integrating those related to the train as well as tracking progress on the program’s product definition activities.**Minimum Requirements** **Education** University degree in Engineering (Senior Engineer/Master’s). Highly valued: Master’s or postgraduate degree and/or additional training in project management (PMP) and/or business management (MBA). **Professional Experience:** Prior experience in project and/or program management within advanced industry. **Required Languages:** Mandatory: Spanish; English Highly valued: Basque, French and/or German. **Competencies:** Customer orientation (internal and external) Teamwork and interpersonal skills Results orientation **Other Requirements:** Willingness and availability to travel and/or undertake temporary national or international assignments (to other offices, customers, suppliers, etc.) as required by project needs.
