Our mission: **to strengthen the business applications** that drive our clients’ businesses, delivering tailored, reliable solutions across their entire application portfolio. To achieve this, we operate across **four complementary pillars**: * **Custom web and mobile applications**, designed to meet each client’s specific needs and ensure optimal user experiences; * **DevOps**, ensuring system stability, scalability, and efficiency while accelerating delivery cycles; * **E-commerce**, supporting the growth of retail and online service providers with high-performing, flexible platforms; * **ERP and PIM**, structuring and optimizing business processes, centralizing information, and facilitating decision-making. Every day, our teams bring **the energy and technical expertise** of Hello Pomelo to serve our clients—ensuring their tech production capacity is never a barrier to innovation, but rather a concrete driver of growth and added value. We are proud to be a **leading tech delivery player** for French ETIs, partnering with them for long-term success. **Job Description** ----------------------- Within our maintenance division, we provide preventive and corrective maintenance for a portfolio of business applications serving our ETI clients. Given the growth of our activity, we are seeking an intern to support us in the operational management of this maintenance. Your daily work will involve great diversity—across projects, technical contexts, and problem domains. The team operates along two main axes: **Corrective Maintenance** * Identify, analyze, and fix anomalies reported via our ticketing system. You’ll be on the front line diagnosing bugs, reproducing issues, and proposing robust fixes. **Preventive Maintenance** * Anticipate risks before they become incidents: code audits, dependency updates, performance improvements, technical debt reduction. You’ll actively contribute to keeping applications healthy over the long term. You may occasionally perform simple DevOps tasks (e.g., deployments, environment configuration), though this is not the core of the role. On a day-to-day basis, you’ll primarily work on the following: * Analyze and handle incoming incident tickets (qualification, investigation, resolution, documentation) * Reproduce and fix bugs in existing codebases * Explore and leverage AI to boost your own and your team’s productivity * Participate in code reviews and technical audits * Update dependencies and ensure environment compatibility * Write or improve technical documentation * Propose improvement paths for your projects **Required Profile** -------------------- ### **Technologies You’ll Work With** Tech stacks vary per client project, but the most common technologies you’ll encounter are **JavaScript / Node.js** and **PHP**: * Web: React, Next.js, Nest.js, Symfony, Sylius, Django * Mobile: React Native, Flutter * Cross-cutting: SQL/NoSQL, Github/Gitlab, REST APIs * Bonus: Docker, Kubernetes, Wordpress, Shopify, Sentry, Grafana Don’t hesitate to apply even if you’re not yet proficient in all these technologies. With the evolution of AI and our mentoring support, you’ll quickly get up to speed—this is one of the key strengths of this role! ### **Who We’re Looking For** You are pursuing or have completed a Bachelor’s +5 or Master’s degree in engineering or computer science and are seeking an internship that will truly accelerate your professional growth. What matters most to us: * Genuine technical curiosity and the desire to understand how things work—from code to infrastructure * Some prior professional experience * Rigor and method: in maintenance, there’s no room for approximations * Ability to communicate clearly about blockers and progress * Autonomy, coupled with the instinct to ask for help at the right time * English proficiency highly appreciated ### **✅ What We Offer** * Immersion in a multi-project and multi-sector environment—ideal for building real versatility * Mentorship from experienced developers, with dedicated time allocated to your skill development * Real DevOps exposure—a valuable asset in the market * One remote workday per week * And if it’s a good fit, a potential opportunity for a VIE (International Volunteer in Enterprise) upon completion of the internship Join the Hello Pomelo adventure! **Recruitment Process** -------------------------- * Interview 1 – General * Technical test to be completed outside of interviews * Interview 2 – Technical * Interview 3 – Final **Additional Information** -------------------------------- * Contract type: **Internship** (6 months) * Location: **Barcelona** * Education level: **Bachelor’s +5 / Master’s** * Experience: **> 6 months** * **Occasional remote work permitted** * Salary: **between €700 and €1400 / month**
