We are looking for a **Flight Controls** Engineer with experience in simulations, flight physics, and aircraft modeling for a project within the aerospace sector. The primary mission will be to analyze, understand, and model the aircraft’s dynamic behavior, contributing to the integration and development of flight control systems. The role requires a solid understanding of flight physics, aerodynamic effects on various surfaces and configurations, as well as the ability to perform complex scientific calculations and interpret data from simulations and models. **What will you do on a day-to-day basis?** **Modeling and Simulation** * Analysis of aircraft behavior under different speeds, configurations, and flight phases. * Understanding and modeling of fundamental concepts such as lift, drag, angle of attack, and aircraft dynamics. * Use of OSM/A and other simulation tools to assess the impact of movable surfaces, flaps, slats, and other flight control elements. **Technical Integration and Development** * Collaboration on activities related to the integration of flight control models. * Review and analysis of cockpit instrumentation associated with flight indicators. * Study of physical effects influencing aircraft performance (pressures, angles, loads, among others). **Diagnosis and Problem Solving** * Identification and analysis of incomplete, erroneous, or data-deficient models. * Ability to decompose system complexity and define step-by-step solutions. * Detailed technical review of deliverables related to flight control. **Technical Communication** * Clear and structured interpretation of results for internal and external teams. * Preparation of technical documentation and summaries oriented toward decision-making. **What are we looking for?** * Experience in flight control systems, flight physics, or aircraft dynamics. * Knowledge of simulation, OSM/A models, or similar tools. * Ability to tackle complex technical problems and work with diverse interfaces. * Understanding of basic and advanced aerodynamic effects on control surfaces. * Analytical and synthesis skills to clearly communicate technical conclusions. * Fluent English is essential.
